Here's the thing.... if I could get my butt out of bed earlier in the morning, these pictures would be Sunrises Over Cayuga. Instead, I am much more likely to be willing to go out shooting sometime before dinner instead... that means looking westward, and that takes us out to Seneca Lake.

love the second photo alex... it's evocative of a time long ago.
That's funny Jim. Nancy said it reminded her of some of the Civil War era photographs... a la Ken Burns. Nice to know that in the digital age we can still evoke a feeling of a different time.
In my book and finger lake is awesome to see..frozen or not frozen!
