I love how easy it is to use Etsy.
Easy to put things up, easy to edit and hopefully easy to sell!
Nancy and I have been talking about what we need to learn in order to put a shopping cart on our website. Lo and behold, the very same day, on Clayart, we had a discussion about the same exact thing. Sounds like it takes virtually nothing to create BUY NOW buttons through PayPal.... so that's what I will be working on in my copious spare time over the next few weeks.
Wish me luck!

holy crap I know you and I live down the street! (sort of down the street) and now I see you have a blog!
Not quite down the street, but yeah. Been probably 3 years since we last saw you at the Ithaca Festival. How are shows treating you? Still doing Art Trail?
Didn't do any shows in 2008, my blog did most of my selling for me, thank goodness. YES, I like the art trail of course, and shortly she will want our checks, won't she????
Nice pots, amigo.
:)
Hey, tell me more about selling off your blog. How'd you do it and how'd you figure it out? Email me off blog if you can. info@coldspringsstudio.com
thanks!!!
not much to tell there, people visit the blog and buy stuff---over 500 items last year and quite a few so far this year too---we don't have much in Etna, but we do have high speed internet and a post office....and a cemetery
So how are folks finding your blog? How are they finding you on Etsy? Do you keep an extensive e/mailing list?
We're just starting out with the whole e-commerce thing by using Etsy. No sales yet, but then again, we had 4 sales the entire month of Dec! Our studio is usually hopping all month. Not so much this year.
Dude! You have a friend that can help you with those kinds of things. Hmmm. I wonder who that could be? London's calling and maybe you should answer. :)
