A great drive home last night

It's a long way back from Utica/New Hartford to Trumansburg. We came back the slow route, via Route 5&20... met up with Route 89 and came down the lake. The light was falling fast as we came through the upper end of wine country. Great light though.

Your pictures are eautiful! What clear skies! I tried to take a picture of the huge, full moon rising over the hills last night and all I got was a white blob in the middle of the darkness.

By the way, thank you for The Lost Generation. I got teary in the first half from sorrow and in the second from relief.

There is something ironic/amusing about getting more folks chiming in on how they liked these pics... as compared to my usual pics of pots. Go figure.

Nancy got some great shots of the moonrise over the lake during this same drive home. No light except for the moonlight and reflection off the lake. Hopefully I can get those pictures ready tomorrow sometime.
