Today is my first full day home from the rehab unit. As weak as I am, I am still moving around the house, finding ways of maintaining stability... all in all, doing well. I'm looking forward to getting outside more, walking greater distances, and most of all, I look forward to seeing all my friends and family.

Alex, great to hear you are back home. Best of luck as you continue your recovery!
Good to hear you're home, Alex!! Prayers and best of thoughts and wishes for you and your family through this next phase of your recovery!
Wonderful. Back home -- that's good news!
Yes, it is mighty good to be home. I am slowly finding ways to get comfortable. Here's a funny dilemma: Sitting on my office chair hurts my sit bones (my butt!) after about 20 min... and why?? Because I lack the muscle tone and fat I used to have. Never thought it would come to this!
As I page backward in your blog, I am so impressed your upbeat attitude and sense of humor! It is truly a miracle that you were able to go home to Nancy and Aurora. If only we all appreciated life as much as you do! You were living it to the full before the surgery and, it is obvious, nothing is going to change that!
